Ramadan Dinner
Welcome an evening of community, reflection, and celebration during Ramadan.

About U B Long
U B Long is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through the power of connection. By hosting community events—such as interfaith gatherings, shared meals, and music programs—we bring neighbors together in meaningful ways that reduce loneliness, build understanding across differences, and help create compassionate communities where everyone feels seen, respected, and that they truly belong.
Attendance is always free thanks to generous donations.

What is Ramadan
Ramadan is the holiest month for Muslims and is observed around the world as a time of spiritual reflection, prayer, generosity, and community. During Ramadan, Muslims fast each day from sunrise to sunset, abstaining from food and drink as a way to focus on gratitude, self-discipline, and compassion for those in need. Each evening the fast is broken with a meal called iftar, often shared with family, friends, and neighbors, making Ramadan not only a time of personal devotion but also a season of hospitality, charity, and connection within the community.
